iso 5.0.1 latest untethered jalbreak

Iphone Dev team throw out a big bomb of iphone untethered jailbreaking before the end of year 2011, which i guess it would be the best present the iphone users look forward. For this time, all apple devices (iphone, ipod touch, ipad) without A5 iso can be perfectly jalibroke, which include ipod touch 3G, ipod touch 4G, iphone 3GS, iphone 4, iphone 4-CDMA, and ipad 1. And again, it has both Mac and Win version. Moreover, this tutorial will give you two ways to jailbreak your apple devices. Let's move on:

This is the fastest way to jailbreak those devices which have already been jailbroken, but is tethered jailbreak (cannot be turned off, or rebooted). Simplely turn on the Cydia on your device, on Search section, search "Corona", choose the "Corona 5.0.1 Untether" shown on the result, click Install, and done. Good Luck!

PS: Using Corona to jailbreak can be done on your apple devices, it means you don't need to connect to your computer or run restore on Itune.

RedSnow 0.9.10b1 is the latest jailbreak tool can be used to jailbreak the devices whatever your devices have been jailbroken or not.

Requirement & Pre-warning notes:

• This jailbreak tool can only be used on: ipod touch 3G, ipod touch 4G, iphone 3GS, iphone 4, iphone 4-CDMA, and ipad 1.
• Please update your device's firmware to iso 5.0.1 and do SHSH backup on your current firmware (you can either choose tinyumbrella or iTool). (For more details, please check my other hub)
• Don't update when apple provice new firmware iso 5.0.2.
• Download or update to the latest Itune.
• If anyone used Hybrid 5.0/5.01 on their devices, please don't use this tool to jailbreak directly, and please restore your devices to iso 5.0.1 and then use jailbreak tool.
• If you get error message about Exploit failed or Fetching required files, or something similar to it, it is generally the problem about the USB driver conflict. To fix this problem, press F8 when you reboot you computer, and choose Safe Mode With networking.
• After completed jailbreak, if you cannot add source on your Cydia, to fix this problem, go to /var/mobile/Library, usder this folder, copy file keyboard, and paste it under folder /var/root/Library

1. Connect your decive to computer, and update it to iso 5.0.1;
2. Turn on RedSn0w 0.9.10b1 (In case, you can right click it and choose to run as administrator); Click Jailbreak. (PS: You don't need to verify the firmware on this new version.);
3. Turn off your device, and click next;
4. On this step, you are gonna boot your device into DFU mode, it is easy as long as you follow the notes step by step. And click Next after you finish the steps above.
5. On this step, the program will run and get any requred files automatically, so be patient. Once it is finished, and click Next;
6. on this step, you will have 2 options been chose by default---Install Cydia and Enable battery percentage; (#Warning: For the deivce has already been jailbroken, uncheck Install Cydia; For the device has not been jailbroken, click Next directly.)
7. Once you finished all the steps above, you device will be jailbroke automatically, it will take a while, and you will be the sweet pineapple. After that, you will see Cydia icon shown on your device, and Congrulation to your untethered jailbreak.
